 Our Church and School

We are an International Church
When you come to New Hope International Church, you will see people from every imaginable ethnic background. Our Membership includes Hispanics, African Americans, Asians, Europeans, Caucasians, and many other ethnic groups who freely worship together. Sunday mornings, between 9:00 and noon, are the most segregated three hours in America…that’s not so at NHIC! We work together, shop together, and eat together…at NHIC, we believe that we should worship together too!

We are a Family Church
Family time is important. We focus on ministry with the family, not just for the family. You won’t be criticized or made to feel guilty about taking family time and vacations. Ministry is shared by others, so when you must say “no” to a ministry opportunity, that’s all right with us!

We are a Maturing Church
We want to teach you and your family practical and relevant life-changing principles. God loves you the way you are, but loves you too much to allow you to stay that way forever. Our L.I.F.E. Groups, retreats, Bible studies, college courses, and other discipleship opportunities are designed to help your spiritual progress, growth, development, and maturity.

We are an Outreach Church
We’re not a social club. We’re passionate about our purpose. We want people to know that there is hope for every part of their life. People flow into our church through one of the many ministry streams we offer. With more than thirty ministries at New Hope International Church, we know you’ll find a place to connect and serve.

Concord Christian Schools

Pre-School
Thank you for your interest in Concord Christian Preschool for your child(ren). We are excited about the possibility of getting to know them and aiding in their learning experiences as they grow.

The Preschool was started in 1967 by former pastors James and Diana Gee. Their goals were to instill a positive Christian influence into young children—not only by sharing the Word of God with them and teaching them about Jesus Christ—but also by helping to build their self-esteem and their self-confidence. They wanted every child to know that they can do and be whatever they dreamed. In addition to our Preschool, we also have an elementary school beginning at Kindergarten and currently extending through 12th grade.

There are three classes in our Pre-School program, starting at two year-olds and continuing through Pre-Kindergarten. Each day begins with breakfast and prayer before they split into classes to start their daily activities. The children are taught the basics like the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and much more. Plus, they are also taught how to interact with each other and how to conduct themselves in a classroom setting. But most importantly they are taught the fundamentals of the Bible, which we believe is very significant in their young lives. Noontime consists of lunch and prayer before preparing for naptime from 12:30–3:00. The rest of the day is a mix of playtime and crafts, coloring, and movies.

Please feel free to “check us out” by dropping in for a tour, we’d be happy to show you around. Because our church and school have worked so hard to become and remain debt-free, we can offer some of the lowest rates in the area, with adjustable schedules to fit your needs. We also offer discounts for the second and third child from the same family. First and foremost, CCPS is a ministry to the children. “Jesus said to them, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Mark 10:14)

Thank you again for your interest in Concord Christian Preschool.

K-12 Grades
Thank you for your interest in Concord Christian Schools for your child(ren). We are excited about the possibility of aiding in their academic, spiritual, and character development.

Concord Christian Schools was started in 1972. Today, CCS concentrates on educating students at all grade levels. CCS has a campus of three different facilities including a gymnasium, with second and third grades in a separate building while kindergarten and first grade (downstairs) and fourth through twelfth grades (upstairs) are in the same complex. All of our classrooms are designed and supplied with a wide variety of learning essentials and educational resource materials, each unique and creating a delightful learning environment for each child to succeed and excel. All classrooms are undergoing constant upgrades to make each of them both effective and pleasant.

The curriculum used in our kindergarten through fifth grade program is A-Beka, the leading manufacturer of Christian-based textbooks utilized in Christian schools today, while our sixth through twelfth grades are using Switched on Schoolhouse, a computer-based, home-school style curriculum. Chapel services are led by the pastoral staff of New Hope International Church, along with daily Bible classes in the classrooms. Our staff consists of Christian teachers with a “love” for teaching and a “heart” for young people. Almost all of our teachers and classroom aides have children attending Concord Christian School which speaks highly of their commitment to the education process.

Please feel free to “check us out” by calling the office and making an appointment, we’d be glad to give you a tour. We are strong believers in Christian education and Proverbs 22:6 (“to train up a child in the way that they should go”). At the same time, our goal is to make Christian education affordable as well. Tuition is perhaps the lowest in the area with 25% and 50% discounts available for the second and third child from the same family. First and foremost, CCS is a ministry to the children.

Again, thank you for your interest in Concord Christian School.
